After record snowfall here in the San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado the lower elevations have shed most of their snow with the higher elevations still loaded. It is not quite spring yet but an unusually warm March has brought us a lot closer than normal.
This winter has be interesting to say the least. We’ve had heavy rains in the lower elevations with little snow. This is not typical around here. My family in BC, Canada have had record snow along to coast of Vancouver where it rarely snows. I think the weather just got a little mixed up this year. We’ll have to wait until next year to see if it was just a fluke….
The Animas Valley is hard to get a nice sunset shot but I finally had the opportunity to catch one.
