A major winter storm has gripped the the San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado for the past month with non-stop rain and snow with no breaks in-between. The sun disappeared during this time which is unusual for our area.
It was so nice to finally see the sun come out again with the clouds in retreat. On a positive note, the above average snowpack should result in some nice wildflowers this summer. In the meantime, I’ll keep enjoying the beautiful winter scenes now before us…
